Broken Beginnings with Timothy (Chip) Santa Barbara:
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)
Although God is talking here with the Israelites, Tim feels very much it pertains to him and many others who have come to know, and will come to know, Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Tim grew up with a basic understanding of Jesus, but not enough to understand the importance of keeping a close relationship with Him. At age 15 he caught his first legal charge, and lived a life of insanity in crime, violence, gangs, drugs and alcohol, going in and out of juvenile facilities, rehabs, prisons, N.A. and A.A. However, during his last visit to prison, he began to read the Bible and take notes.
Upon being released in 2014, he continued drinking, but reached out to prison chaplain Steve Anderson. One night, fully understanding he was at the end of himself with nowhere else to turn, Tim dropped to his knees and gave his life to Christ. God, in His amazing grace, snatched that demon right out of him, the light shone and there was darkness no more; no longer a slave of the enemy. Thus, began a journey of living a life for Jesus!
God has used that “broken beginning” to completely wipe his slate clean, restoring his family, allowing him to minister to youth in the church, and other miracles. Tim is currently enrolled in Liberty University to obtain a “Biblical Studies Certificate.”
God has used Tim to establish Broken Beginnings Ministry to lead Bible studies and give others a “street friendly” introduction to Jesus, where ANY person, rough background or not, can come comfortably, with the knowledge that we are ALL equally broken, born into sin, and are ALL in desperate need of Jesus and His redeeming grace. Throughout the Bible, God uses broken people!
It’s time to raise up more leaders from the “broken,” to submit to the will of God and GO reap a harvest! Jesus says in John 4:38 “I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” The Holy Spirit works through Tim and Broken Beginnings to reach the broken and let them know this is only the beginning; to RUN to Jesus and LIVE!!!
On Sunday February 14, 2021 Tim was ordained by the leadership of his home church, Brandywine Valley Baptist Church.
Men’s Fellowship with John Schelich:
“God … calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” (Romans 4:17)
Men of God are called to be visionaries like our God. NoWallsChurch Men’s Fellowship meets to inspire each man to once again dream, believe, and achieve their personal God-given destiny. Marriages, families, and communities are counting on each man of God to overcome the snares of this world and embrace what God has called them to be. These fellowships will be challenging in love, with no judgment, and exercising complete confidentiality. Men should be prepared to leave each meeting refreshed, inspired, and resolved to be more than conquerors for the kingdom of God.
Women’s Bible Study with Sara Dawn Samuel:
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Knowing God’s Word for yourself will open a life-changing intimacy with the Lord and equip you to be a Berean and test the spirits as Paul admonishes us to do in 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Through Bible study you will develop a deeper personal relationship with God. He wants an intimate relationship with you!
We offer solid Bible studies where we dig into God’s Word together and grow in our personal walk and fellowship with our sisters in Christ.
We meet Tuesday evenings on Zoom.
The Discipleship School with Robert Kossak:
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
Twice monthly we purpose to exercise our theme verse above. Verse by verse exposition is the normal teaching pattern but at times, topical studies will be introduced.
Guys, Guns, and God with Mike O’Shaughnessy:
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)
Mike O’Shaughnessy is a lifelong gun guy and a former Army captain. As a way to promote fellowship among men, he will set aside one day month to take two guys to the shooting range where he has a membership. These can be experienced shooters, or beginners who are willing to listen and learn. Afterwards, the men can have a meal together to continue their fellowship. The days may vary between Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Sunday.
New Castle County Association of Evangelicals Monthly Prayer Breakfast with Joan Brown:

Rescued Daughters with Stacey Winns:
“Daughter, Jesus said, your FAITH has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” (Mark 5:34)
Stacey has a passion to win souls to Jesus and see women set free from the suffering of addiction. She struggled with substance abuse from the time she was eleven years old until one day when she cried out to the Lord Jesus for freedom. He came in His power and set her free from the darkness of drugs and alcohol. As she put her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, Stacey felt a burning desire and urgent call to minister the good news to other women who still suffer in the darkness of addiction. Her desire and prayer is to bring forth the light of the gospel, revealing Jesus so they too can put their faith in the One who delivers.
